Elisabeth is posting a challenge a day HERE just for fun for us and the Shout Box is open 24/7 until the end of the month!
Also my Tea Bag Folding Class is on tomorrow night (rescheduled due to forum maintance) and will be the last class!

Bump - Take Two!

Scott took some photos (Had to crop a bit of the background out, but other than that they are beautiful and focused!!!) and I took the one of us both together with the tripod and timer! Gee 10 seconds really isn't enough time to pose! LOL!

I do not know how my hair has gotten that reddish tinge! Even better that it has occurred naturally and I did not have to pay to get it done! Very cool! Must be the pregnancy hormones working overtime! LOL :)

Bump

Ok, this is the best shot I could get (and believe me I took a few) using my new camera (which DH claims I do not use enough), tripod and self timer! It is so hard to focus on the foreground before hand with nothing or no one standing there to focus on! Really need some more practice, but considering my efforts I am glad I got at least this half decent photo:

I am currently 18 & 1/2 weeks pregnant! Yesterday I was trying on a dress at Kmart and they had the 3D mirrors and OMG! I knew I was popping out but I just stood there for a while staring at my bump in all 3 mirrors thinking, "Gee, Squishy you really are getting big in there!"

Anyway DH will try to get some more photos of me this afternoon but he is even more clueless using my new camera than I am! See how it goes!

Any tips from other Digital SLR users would be greatly appreciated! I know I need to get out and practice more!

SAD NEWS!

Scrap Yourself Silly will no longer be in operation from 1 April 2007.
This weekends cybercrop has been cancelled but I will still be holding my Tea Bag Folding class on Saturday! The very last class! The very last time the shout box will be open and we can all chat!

Bring on Friday!

First I would love to wish the Wonderful Wendy a Very Happy Birthday!!! Hope you get spoilt!

Now quick update as to why I want Friday to arrive quickly:

First of all I am going to the Whistlers Chocolate Factory in Belmont with some friends! YUMMMO! Can not wait!

Then we have our SYS Cybercrop is on this weekend, and I am teaching a Tea Bag Folding Class on the Saturday night. Here is a sample:

There's also a on-line raffle to raise money for Run 4 Rani and the CWA currently on the SYS site with some fabulous prizes that have been generously donated.

So, now you know why I want Friday to come!

Exploding Boxes

Elisabeth over on the Creative Team on SYS had a class last week on making exploding boxes! Talk about fun and addictive!!! Here a mine:
I have not decorated the inside of the left one as I am giving that to a friend, but the right is going to be one I add to my favourite milestones/photos and memories (still a work in progress, but you can see how it works):
