Sunday Surprise!





































DH surprised me today with a visit to Ashcombe Maze! I had been wanting to go there for ages, even when we last lived over here, but we just never got around to going.
Well today, I just thought we were going to the Baby Market in Mornington (got some great little bargains and toys for Squishy) and when we got home he asked if my battery for the slr was charged as he wanted to go for a Sunday drive!
Well it was. He bought lunch at Balnarring and while we having lunch told me that we were going to Ashcombe Maze! I felt like a little kid again! We took my stuffed Rotti Bruno (he loves to travel!LOL) and got heaps of great last minute Autumn photos of him and us around the place.
We did get a few funny looks from people probally wondering why we were carring around a stuffed toy, but in the end the girls from the cafe were saying goodbye to him! LOL!
Despite the nearly 30knot winds it was a lovely sunny autumn day and the Maze was just Magical!
Such a lovely Surprise!

Patience is a virtue!

One I DO NOT HAVE!
SORRY!
I really would love to share some of the photos Scott took coming over, but the computer I am using is so old that it does not have an USB PORT!!
OMG! I took the memory card down to Kmart and paid $7.95 to put them all onto a disc and have now inserted the disc and have also had to install Kodak EasyShare onto the computer in the hopes of being able to edit and upload at least ONE PHOTO!

Not looking good! :(
Computer is not only old but too slow as it is congested and its memory is practically full, so it takes a life time to check my emails let alone type this and try to upload a photo!
I miss my computer! :(
I am off to scrapbook..... that will cheer me up.... that and a cuppa with a BIG CHOC CHIP MUFFIN! :)

I can scrap!






















Yay! Our stuff arrived today and I have set up a little table and have my scrapping trolleys along side so I can still scrap!

Scott arrived 5am Sunday morning (just in time for Mother's Day) he took heaps of photos which I will share soon; as he took my little stuffed Rotti - Bruno and it is kind of like the knome travelling the world but with a stuffed dog along the Nullabor! LOL! Photos are too cute, especially daggy ones like Bruno reading the map or sleeping with Jake! :)

Squishy is doing well. I went to the doctors here on Tuesday and will go back next week for another check up and to find out which OB she recommends and which hospital I will be going to as it will have to be public.

Well the weather today is ideal for scrapbooking, so I better go and get inspired now!

Arrived Safe & Sound

Just a quick note to let you all know Squishy and I have arrived safely and have had the best nights sleep in ages last night! I only had to get up ONCE during the night to visit the little girls room! Must of been Totally exhausted!

When the plane took off from Perth, Squishy was kicking me like mad (I swear with both feet!) for a good half hour!! But after that it went so fast and my in-laws picked me up from the airport (14degrees in Melbourne) and took me home.

Last day of work! Yay!!!!

Yay!!! Finished work today! Got a nice bottle of wine and my boss gave me a little pressie (thanks Mel). Just have to pop in tomorrow and return my uniforms so that my final pay can go through.
Then after that go up and see my cousin one last time, before I fly out tomorrow!

It has just gone too fast!

Squishy's kicks are getting stronger as my bump grows bigger, but I am actually finding I am wearing tops that I would never have worn before (tight fitting now, but were loose then) just to show off my bump! (Just like the photo in previous post, never wore that top when I was thinner!) LOL! Did anyone else go through that? At home I will wear one of DH's shirts or singlets but not out as I feel frumpy if I do! LOL!

Anyway, I am looking forward to catching up with the Arty Pants girls again once I am back in Melbourne and hopefully a few others that I used to scrap with when Terry had her shop also.
Plus, my m.i.l has gone baby shopping mad! I will not list the things she has bought already as I am sure there is more than I have been told! LOL! Will find out on Thursday once I get there!

Internet being disconnected tomorrow so my next post will be from my in-laws computer.

25 weeks


Currently 25 weeks pregnant.
Went to dinner last night with Maria who owns Blumars with both our husbands. We had Mexican! I had not had that since we were in Melbourne and had Taco Bills! Very nice!!!


Still got a bit of packing to do and also got my Mothers Day Purse class this afternoon on Blumars and am really looking forward to it!



Two more days of work and I am done! No more early mornings! Can not wait!!!

Ok, I am of to finish off packing that Never Ending Craft Room of mine! :)

WE'RE MOVING AGAIN!

Just to let you all know, DH, Squishy, the dogs and I are moving back to Melbourne (for now) until DH goes through recruit school for the RAAF.

This time next week I will be on a plane from Perth to Melbourne!

My final day at work is Tuesday and we hope to have EVERYTHING packed by then, DH hopes to, as I am only allowed to pack my Craft Room! LOL! (he will not go in there!)

So many things to do and people to try and see before I go, but I am looking forward to returning to Melbourne and I know my in-laws are most eager to see me and my Squishy bump!

Comfort Food




The weather is getting cooler and the rain is here for the week if not longer. Not that I am complaining! But it does give me the perfect opportunity to bake some Hot & Yummy goodies!


These little bundles were made with shortcrust pastry, brown soft sugar, apricots and glazed cherries! Totally Heavenly!
