Happy Birthday To Me

OMG can not believe I am 28 years of age and about to become a mum for the very first time!
3 weeks to go! Getting extremely excited now and really wish that DH could be here for the birth. Like I said to Jodie and Judee at Arty Pants on Saturday it is more the Unknown that I am scared of, being my first pregnancy and all. Only time will tell!
Had so much fun at Arty Pants on Saturday! The shop looks AMAZING and I was lucky enough to win the Door Prize too! All those extra scrapbooking goodies!
I am off to enjoy my day (in-laws taking me out for Chinese tonight) and have a Big Slice of CHOCOLATE MUD CAKE and a cuppa! Yummy!!!!

Yay, A layout!

OMG I have hopefully gotten my mojo back and am out of this layout rutt!
This layout is for this months DT challenge on
Arty Pants (whom by the way are moving their shop and having their Grand Opening in Cranbourne TOMMORROW!)

The challenge was to use 3 different patterned papers from 3 different manufacturers:

pps- Junkitz, Scenic Route (double sided) and Cre8tiv.

bazzill cardstock

Heidi Swapp alphabet stickers

Heidi Swapp Mask

Jac paper and Green Whispers pen

Great to be scrapping layouts again, just need more supplies now! LOL

Also got to make the most of catching up on my pregnancy layouts now before Squishy arrives!

36 Weeks

Squishy is well and truly head down and in position according to both the midwife at the hospital and my doctor. I got to hear Squishys heart beat for the first time and it was so surreal!

Just got a few last minute things to organise.

I got my hair cut yesterday and can not get a decent photo that will do the style justice! I am very happy with it though and it will be easier to manage once Squishy arrives soon....

35 Weeks!

5 weeks to go! Give or take!

DH has been gone nearly two weeks now and is doing well in his recruit course. He was in Hospital overnight last week as he got a really bad and fast spreading rash over his body which he says burns! But he is okay now and it has not come back.

They do 16 hour days and he is buggered come night time, but they will be giving him a weekend off once Squishy is born, so although he will probally miss the birth he will get to see Squishy.

Not long now until Squishy is born! Getting very excited and nervous at the same time as I have had a trouble free pregnancy symptoms wise and have no idea what to expect or how I am going to re-act once it is time for Squishy to come out! I am really hoping she will just be pushing herself out! Feels like she is trying to get out at the moment with all the stretching she does, I can never tell what is poking out but I can see and feel it and my stomach is feeling it!

Anyway we are fully stocked with enough small baby clothes and have a pram, carseat (it has been installed already) bassinette and bouncer.

Found a bargain change table at the Op Shop which later can be used as draws with shelves on top! Too cool, picking that up later this week.

Just shopping around for a portacot in which the matress base can be raised and organising my hospital bag and trying to catch up on my pregnancy journal!

All the things I am not going to have as much time to do soon!

Better go and do some of it now!

33 Weeks

7 weeks to go! More or less! I guess Squishy will arrive when it is time.

Got these photos today as it will be the last time DH sees and kisses the bump! (still not 100% when it comes to focusing the SLR for a timer shot! Need more practice!) DH leaves tomorrow!

Thank you for all your kind comments regarding my Uncle passing. My Nanna is home now with my Aunty and still distressed but that is to be expected. Will know more later in week regarding autopsy results.
