More layouts




Here are the layouts I did last weekend over at SYS, I know I am putting them up a week late, but I have been just exhausted both physically and emotionally lately! Plus very forgetful (getting frustrating).
The Cyber Crop and my Bleaching Class was a huge success and we had heaps of scrappers join us for the fun and games. Speaking of games: I won the BINGO! First time, very exciting!

Hope everyone had a great Australia Day yesterday. Too hot here for me and I just watched movies all day! (getting very lazy I know)

On the pregnancy front:
Got my blood test done on Thursday, going to doctors for results next week.
Also tired of talking about the baby as him or her, so we have nicknamed the baby: Squishy! Do not ask me how I came to pick that name but it just popped into my head!
Still no morning sickness, just really emotional! Yesterday watching foxtel they had a documentary on the dogs they save in USA and they quickly showed a pile of dead dogs! I burst into tears and could not stop crying! It was mortifying!
Work hours have been cut back (not that I did that many to start with) but everyone has been really helpful and if the office did not smell so stuffy I would probally do couple more hours in there, but can not stand the smell!
On Monday I will be 11 weeks (ultrasound will confirm though) and have got a small bump! Most of my tops are tight around my boobs and stomach (can not believe my boobs are bigger! Never thought that would ever happen! LOL)

Anyway, I will try to update my blog a bit more regularly!

Cyber Crop Weekend Ahead

Got another fun filled Cyber Crop over at Scrap Yourself Silly starting tonight! There will also be a kids challenge and I am doing a Bleaching Class on the Saturday night.

Scrapping wise, I am so behind on my EDM layouts, but did manage to get two done the other day. I guess I may be a little self critical, but I am not really happy with some of the stuff I have been creating or attempting to create lately!



Got to get out of this rut! Hopefully the CC will fix it!

Totally off the scrapping subject: I was watching Sunrise this morning and can not believe that the Victorian Bush Fires have been going on for 50 days straight now! Scott's brother has lost his whole property and house and so have all his neighbours. It is just so sad, it makes you really appreciate the time and effort the volunteers put in and the fact that Australians really pull in together to help each other out in a time of crisis!

Here's hoping that it does not go on for much longer and that all the Volunteers get the recognition they deserve!

One Year!


Today makes One Year that DH and I have been married!
It has gone so fast and so much has happened! All good though!

We are just spending the day together and going out to lunch somewhere airconditioned (we were going to have a picnic, but it is going to be a stinker of a day!)

Scrap Inspiring Photo.

Been stuck in a scrapping rut lately until Carlie over at SYS won the December Photo challenge. I have to scrap the winning photo as I set the challenge for Shilouettes. What an inspiring photo!
I hope she loves her layout as much as I loved creating it!

Reality set in today!

Ok, DH and I are walking out of the shopping centre after getting a few groceries when these people where helping one "Very Pregnant" and "water just broke" lady!
I was so overwhelmed with emotion I nearly cried!
That is going to be me in 7 months time! This is really happening!

I guess because I haven't being getting morning sickness and throwing up all the time like most do, that I have been living in a dream like state!
I will admit after today, the whole going into labour and the baby actually having to come out is freaking me out a bit!
But they can drug you for that? Right?

It's a New Year!

Can not believe that it is a New Year already!
In 12 more days it will make exactly ONE year DH and I have been Married!

New Years Eve was quiet, I was in bed before midnight and so was my friend. Just so tired lately!

We have been to the doctors and everything has been confirmed and I have to go in again in 4 weeks time for a blood test.
I was weighed at the doctors and was surprised that I still weigh the same as I feel so bloated and fat I thought I would at least been a couple of kilos more than normal.

Back to work tomorrow, I have had too much time off over xmas and new years and too many sleep ins that getting up early is going to be painful now! LOL!

Hope everyone had a great start to the New Year and I will try and catch up on everyones blogs soon.
